A sculpted cake can be almost any three dimensional object imaginable. . . you dream it up and we’ll make it happen.
guidelines for ordering custom cakes
Almost all custom cakes are designed/constructed using fondant.
All custom cakes are priced at $4.50 per serving and require a minimum of 20 servings. From this base cost, the design work is charged at an hourly rate of $25.00/hr. Once your cake order is discussed with Next Door, we will get back to you within 48 hours with a cost, broken down into cost per serving as well as cost for design.
All custom/specialty cakes take a lot of time to complete. It is recommended that they are ordered at least 2 weeks prior to your event date to ensure availability. However, there is no guarantee that we’ll be able to make a custom cake if your order is received before or after the 2 week grace period.
At the time of your order, a payment of 50% of the total cost of the cake is due.
